untitled

Wish …

All pain vanished like sublime steam, flirting zephyr...
All happiness spread like waft of fragrant incense…
All hardships mellowed like ripples in tranquil pond…
All love effused like the Vesuvius egress…

Oh I wish…

Poems were true!

Really good verse from an optimist. Now here’s one from a optimist turned pessimist… :(

Wishes r always wishes…
Until they come true…
And finally even if ur wishes wud do come true…
It’d be goodbye to me and u…

Hi, I’m sorry to have begun on a rather cynical note. I'm Viji and I accidentally came across your blog through another one. I really enjoy reading your posts and I really admire your versatility. A few humorous ones and a few though provoking ones; all eventually leaving you thinking about it with a smile on your face. :)

Thank you for your marvelous posts. Do keep penning more.

Regards,
Viji

@Nanditha
Thank you..and lets hope so.. :-)

@Viji
Well sometimes am a pretending pessimist coz am a die-hard optimist to the core!! Kind of belief that when any thing good happening being a pessimist is always a bonus and if nothing good happened we never expected it anyways..hahaha..makes sense?? ;-P

Thanks for dropping by..and glad that you enjoyed it!

Sure, it does make sense, Mathew. Coz earlier even I was one of those kinds who was a genuine optimist at heart showing occasional signs of pessimism. Guess it was rather easy that way. But with the passage of time and a big thx to the “uncertainties” or rather bitter realities of life (then I was a complete “potti” to realize that) that I was infact forced to change my total perspective towards life. And thereby eventually making me a hard-core pessimist and a pretending optimist. Now its easy this way. As u said, u never expected anything if things go wrong… :)

And rite now, though I’ve completely clothed myself with pessimism, I’m trying hard to get myself out of it. Must confess have been working on it for some time. And u know its really tough. :( And thts when I saw ur verse filled with utmost optimism. Anyways, thx for those inspiring words as I hope these words wud definitely help towards the cause.

PS Apologise for making this comment box boring with philosophy and personal sagas. ;-P

@Viji

The bitter reality of life is that life has its own sweet…sour…and bitter moments. It is unto us to savour the sweet moments and learn from the bitter moments. We often blame and resign to fate when things go wrong…Ofcoz it is natural to feel down and lose faith when things go wrong but then it is not worth to crib over it. I believe resigning to fate is sort of escapism and pessimism arises when the negative vibes we have overwhelm those positive ones. Rather why not think “My life is not to be wasted feeling sympathetic for myself”

It is like half the people in world believe GOD exists coz the optimism about a supreme overwhelming power, who could give us hope or better times is actually more inspiring than resigning to fate. If that makes us happy then why not!! :-)

P.S No trouble with long comments in this blog and I appreciate such thoughts!!:-)
